Underarm Sweating Cure Now Within Reach

Have you found the underarm sweating cure yet? No? Maybe you're not looking in the right place. Some people mistakenly believe that the answer to their excessive sweating problem can be found on the drug store shelves, in spray cans and roll-on containers of clinical strength anti-perspirants. Some people consider that the answer to their problem is to take more frequent showers, that cleanliness is the key to the cure. Some people aren't looking for the cure at all, because they're content with changing their clothes half a dozen times a day (these people are easy to spot in the store - they're the ones buying 6 of an identical shirt or blouse so that no one will know that they've changed).

Still other individuals "rely" on more obscure wives' tale cures, such as swiping limes under their arm pits (cheap at 6 for $1, and they're recyclable!). Or you can spritz on a mix of essential oil of lavender and water, that's quite a lovely scent (doesn't work so well for a man, though, but 3-in-1 oil is no good substitute for lavender). Or how about massaging the sweat glands into obedience? That sounds like fun for the masseuse, too!

Finding the long-term underarm sweating cure is not about running to the supermarket, or changing your clothes a lot or increasing your personal good hygiene habits. It may be time to seek professional help. Two options that are readily available are Botox injections and VASER treatment for axillary hyperhidrosis (or excessive underarm sweating).

Essentially, Botox injections paralyze nerve endings. Your sweat glands rely on signals from the brain that trigger your nerve endings to release sweat. If your arm pits' nerve endings are temporarily incapacitated then you don't sweat. "Does getting a Botox injection in your arm pit hurt," you might wonder? Well, it doesn't exactly hurt, but neither does it tickle (and tickling doesn't always feel that good, anyway). And you may need more than a single jab at a time, depending on the size of your arm pit.

A permanent option that is gaining well-deserved popularity throughout the world is VASER treatment for axillary hyperhidrosis. Essentially, much like liposuction, VASER breaks apart and sucks up excess sweat glands; the fewer the sweat glands, the less you sweat. Naturally, a cosmetic surgeon well-trained in VASER treatment must do the procedure, but it is now considered the gold standard for the underarm sweating cure. It's not only minimally invasive, takes only about an hour from start to finish, but there's very little residual pain and recovery time is in days.
